Pappettan analyses a failed relationship

Pappettan and I bumped into an old friend. As it had been a long time since we last met, there were lots to catch up.

Me: *inquisitive* Are you seeing anyone now?

Old Friend: *casually* I was a month back. It didn't work out.

Me: *awkwardly* I am sorry to hear that.

Old Friend: *sans any regret* It is okay. She wanted to move to Europe, and she did.

Me: *at crossroads and doubtful*

Pappettan: *suddenly* Didn't this happen last year too?

Old Friend: *explains* That was a year back. I was seeing this person. She also moved to Europe.

Pappettan: *smiling* That is an opportunity for you.

Old Friend: *surprised* How can you say that?

Pappettan: *dispensing wisdom* Become a brand ambassador for Europe. Date women and promote immigration.
